The Tour Now Network was founded in late 1999 by two techno-savvy home buyers who were looking for a new way to view available homes. Though virtual tours were already available, they were prohibitively expensive, and Realtors often found dealing with virtual tour photographers to be too much of a hassle. The team set out to create a system that would enable computer novices to create their own online home tours in a matter of minutes using any digital camera, and by mid 2000, the Tour Now Network was online selling virtual tours.
